Thanksgiving is over, the sales are done and here comes December!

We had a wonderful feast with our friends this year, Jonnie, Amanda and Madilyn (also with their new little one coming very soon!). We ate too much and watched football all while being entertained all night by Aidan and Madilyn as they showed off! It was stressful but Stephani and Amanda worked their magic in the kitchen and cooked a fine feast. We have so much to be thankful for!

We decided not to add to the madness of after-Thanksgiving shopping and just relaxed after the stress of Thanksgiving. We needed the rest as we are in for another long stretch of no breaks before Christmas. We hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello again everyone!

We realize that we last updated this blog over a month ago but we never promised anything in the first place! Just kidding, we're tyring our best to keep this up to date.

We are done unpacking! We moved in on Oct. 20th and it's taken this long to get this place setup how we wanted. Actually, we have not finished unpacking our bathroom upstairs but it will soon be done. We love our new place! It's perfect for our family with lots of storage space (more than we have ever had!), the area is nice and quiet and we are very happy here in Claremont. Stephani has decorated the place so nice (down with the Halloween stuff and up with the Thanksgiving decor!), she always has a way to make our house truly a home!

The birds are adjusting to their new surroundings, we thought that would be the first thing on everyone's mind.

The boys are doing great! Aidan is still growing so tall! We just bought a height chart to keep track of his growth! He's about about 36 inches right now! We put Liam up to it and he measured up to about the 23 inch mark! Two perfect, growing boys, what more could we ask for? Aidan said "fire" today and he still loves to make his Ninja noises (Ai-ya!!) even after Halloween is over. The pictures of our Halloween party are posted below, everyone had a great time eating and trick-or-treating! Aidan loved being a Ninja and as far as we can tell, Liam didn't mind too much being a tootsie roll and no the other kids didn't make off with him as another piece of candy! Aidan ran door-to-door with the other little boy dressed as superman. He knocked on the doors but couldn't say trick-or-treat yet. Liam is our chubby little sir! He's such a talkative baby and loves to make all sorts of noises when we interact with him. He lifts up his head and rolls over and as seen on the video below, he sits up with, a little help! Another thing about Aidan, he loves to chase Dad and Mom around the house and he loves the swings and the slide at the park. We went on Saturday and played for awhile but when we had to leave, he cried for a long time!

So as usual, two boys keep us on our toes constantly! They learn and grow so much everyday, it's amazing to see. Though Thanksgiving is around the corner, we are looking forward to going home for Christmas and seeing our families!

Brett has 8 more weeks in the semester and before we know it, he will be taking the Medical Board Exams in June and he will start rotations in July! Fall semester goes by so quick! It's been a difficult semester with the material that has been covered but extremely interesting subjects. We have been so blessed getting this far in school and we will need all the blessings we can get for the last part of this year. Stephani deserves a lot of credit for all that she has done and continues to do for our family during this crazy time in our lives! Especially for putting up with our birds! :0)

We know that it will work out and be worth it when we look back on these times later!

Let the holiday season begin!! Also, one request, could we get some snow down here? (not all of it!)

Greetings everyone!

We come to you live from LA on the eve of the beginning of October 2007!

It looks like a promising month, full of excitement and some holiday called Halloween where too much candy is bought and eaten by kids with enough energy already. Can't you feel the spookiness in the air? Or it is just the LA smog getting to me? Well, something is up with the days getting shorter and a little bit colder but we are not complaining, definitely not like Utah down here!


This just in! WE ARE MOVING! Back to our old stompin' grounds in Claremont!
We just found out today (Monday, the 1st). We are excited to finally have a place to settle down for awhile! Moving will be a slow process as we have so much going on this month but at least we can take our time and move over the next couple of weeks!

We visited the LA fair this last week! The pictures show a few things that we did there. It was like being down on the farm though it was right in LA, not too far from where we live. We saw all the farm animals which Aidan loved. He got to see the pigs, cows, horses, chickens and their chicks, dogs, rabbits and best of all he got to pet and feed the goats! Stephani helped him ride the little tractor! He loved all the lights on the Ferris wheel but seeing all the animals was the coolest! What a night! Especially since he got to stay up past his bedtime! Liam just slept the whole time in the stroller, so he seemed to like it at the fair!

Welcome to the Teran Family blog!
We never thought we would be bloggers but here we are!
We just wanted to be able to keep our family up-to-date on the latest happenings while we are down here in California. We tried the newsletter thing but as you all know that didn't happen every month so we are giving this a shot. This way we can even post videos for all of you to see!

The Latest
Well, we have been frantically looking for a new place, as if we don't have enough going on around here. We have seen a lot, from the dirtiest to the most expensive and let me tell you, California is one tough place to find a decent place to rent, if you didn't know already. We have some promising leads but nothing is set at this moment. We hope to find something before we come up there to Utah next month.

It seems like it has been forever but Brett will have been in school for 6 weeks tomorrow! Cardiology is finally coming to an end! No time to even stop and think about it either.

Stephani is busy as ever! Two little boys are a lot to handle! Aidan now counts and says the alphabet! He's our little talker! Liam tries to get in on the action but it just ends up a shouting match between the two. Aidan can climb steps really well, say please for things, and he gets into everything imaginable. Liam is getting so big, so fast! He already looks older than he is and he weighs about half as much as Aidan! We love our little boys and we are looking forward to dressing them up for Halloween next month.

It's the first day of Autumn, Stephani's favorite time of year, and so being the decorator that she is, she has our house looking very Autumn-ish. It looks very nice! Kinda sad when we have to take it all down and move. Oh well, it will look nice in our new place too!

The holidays are almost here! We love this time of year especially the fact that we get to see all of you in a couple of weeks and then again at Christmas time!
